The company’s environmental objectives and policies, as well as the main initiatives undertaken during the financial year, are aimed at progressively reducing the environmental impact of its production activities and improving energy efficiency.

The company continues to pursue its commitment to developing an increasingly sustainable production model, focused on manufacturing furniture components using materials with a lower environmental impact and adopting circular economy principles.

In this regard, particular emphasis is placed on the growing use of certified eco-friendly panels made from recycled wood, which help reduce the consumption of virgin raw materials and promote the reuse of wood-based materials.

The company also uses water-based paints free from chemical solvents and encourages the adoption of more sustainable materials and packaging solutions, including the use of recycled components, with the aim of reducing the environmental impact throughout the entire production chain.

In terms of energy, the company has progressively increased its investment in renewable energy generation and energy efficiency systems. These include photovoltaic installations with a total installed capacity of over 5 Mwh, heat recovery systems for dust extraction equipment, a biomass boiler fuelled by production waste, and measures to optimise industrial energy consumption.

These initiatives contribute to a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and improve the efficiency of electricity and heat consumption across the company’s production facilities.

Finally, the company continues to monitor and control its energy consumption, with particular focus on electricity, natural gas and fuel for road transport, with a view to continuously optimising its processes.
